Information we collect
When you join the network we collect your first and last name, email address, mobile number, ZIP code and the research area you choose. To keep a record of your consent we also store the time you submitted the form, the page you used, your IP address and your browser type.
We do not ask for medical records, insurance information or a diagnosis, and we ask you not to send us health details beyond your chosen area.
Why we use it
We use your information to look for studies near you in your chosen area, to tell you about them by text or email, to reply when you contact us, and to keep proof of your consent. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Mobile numbers and text consent
Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it
Your sign-up stays on file for as long as you want to hear from us. Once you ask us to close it, we erase your details within thirty days, apart from the record of your consent and your opt-out, which we keep for as long as the law expects us to be able to produce it.
Your choices
You may ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it, by email or phone. We respond within thirty days. Residents of some states have additional rights under state law, and we will respect them.
Protection
Information you send us is encrypted in transit and stored on servers with limited access. Because no system can be made completely secure, we collect only the details matching requires.
People under 18
Joining the network is for adults only, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger than 18. Studies that include children are always arranged with a parent or guardian and the research team.
Revisions
When this policy changes we will update the date above. If a change affects information you have already given us, we will let you know before it takes effect.
